2 Most Powerful Characters in Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball is one of the most popular anime series in Japan and all over the world. It has been translated into many languages, including English. The dragon ball manga was written by Akira Toriyama and it follows a young monkey-tailed boy named Son Goku on his adventures with various friends. Dragon Ball is set in an alternate universe from our own, with its own gods and heroes to keep things interesting!

One of the coolest parts about Dragonball is that there are many powerful characters who always give us a good show! Here’s my ranking of the top two dragon ball characters:

1) Son Goku

Son Goku is the protagonist of dragon ball z. In dragon ball he was a monkey-tailed boy who lived in the woods with an old martial arts master, and they trained together until Son Goku became strong enough to defeat any challenger. He bested many opponents throughout dragon ball, from freeza to Cell to Majin Buu. His tail was cut off by Kami for good during dragonball Z episode 169 because it had been revealed that if a full moon were present, his tail would grow back and grant him unlimited strength – this made it impossible for him to remain on Earth while there was a full moon out. The series Dragon Ball Z ended when Son Goku finally defeated Majin Buu after numerous attempts; according to Vegeta at the end of the anime, dragon ball Z was ended when there were no more worthy opponents. Dragon Ball GT begins about 10 years later, which is attributed to the destruction of planet Vegeta by Freeza in dragon ball z – Goku and all Saiyans but two (Trunks and Goten) were sent to Earth in their infancy.

Son Goku’s ability to turn into a Super Saiyan is attributed to the fact that he has an intense anger against his foes, and loves fighting. He was born with the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan because of the full moon; Vegeta reveals this during dragonball Z episode 191. It is additionally revealed in dragon ball z episode 195 that Son Goku cannot become a Super Saiyan unless he has a tail. Vegeta becomes a Super Saiyan for the first time when he is about to be killed by Freeza; dragon ball Z episode 68 reveals that the transformation allows Saiyans to use 100% of their strength.

Son Goku’s inner rage is what enables him to become more powerful, while Vegeta’s desire for revenge allows him to gain the strength that he has.

2) Vegeta

Vegeta is Son Goku’s rival throughout dragon ball Z and dragon ball GT. He became a Super Saiyan for the first time when he was about to be killed by Freeza; dragon ball Z episode 68 reveals that the transformation allows Saiyans to use 100% of their strength. Vegeta was born into the powerful Saiyan race, but his father had been sent away to a distant planet to work as a member of Freeza’s army after going against his superiors. The dragon ball Z story begins with Vegeta and Nappa arriving on Earth to wipe out all life, only to be stopped by the dragon balls. Vegeta later goes to fight the Androids with Trunks, Gohan and Goku. He fights Cell, but is giving everything he has got to try to defeat him, even though it would use up his life at the same time. Since dragon ball Z episode 196 reveals that Saiyans can’t go beyond a certain power level without increasing their tail size, Vegeta’s tail was removed by Bulma during dragon ball Z episode 196, in order to make it possible for him to reach the super saiyan 4 transformation. Vegeta also appears in dragonball GT; in dragon ball GT episode 23, Vegeta goes Super Saiyan 3 instead of Super Saiyan 4 when he fights his son, Trunks.

Trunks is the half-Saiyan, half-human son of Vegeta and Bulma. He has tremendous power for his young age, able to stand up to Freeza when he was only three years old in dragon ball z episode 168. Trunks also gets married with one of the last survivors on earth in dragonball GT episode 35.
