Usually, anime character has two attractive and bright eyes, uniquely distinguishing hairstyles, and thin as well as slender bodies.
Moreover, anime content is quite different from the animation content too. Since anime targets all different age groups, it represents more complex matters and plots. Sometimes, this content will make you question your own philosophical belief and help you become a better person. But, it might also have sex scenes and violent fights, as part of character development.
Overall, anime tries to represent the real world notions and truth through it.
And What Is Animation?
The animation is basically a process of running multiple static images one after another fast enough to make them look like they’re moving. Or more specifically, when we speak about animations, we talk about the regular cartoons that didn’t originate or are influenced by Japanese animations.
And there is more that makes animations or standard cartoons what they are. They usually target children and pre-teens. And because of it, the content of these kinds of animations usually revolves around funny franks and other humorous things. Moreover, even if there is a fight there, they don’t tend to focus on them much, and they end very fast.
However, in the animation, we can clearly see that there is a lot of motion heavily animated.
The Difference: Anime Vs. Animation
Depending on the definition of anime and animations, here are some core difference between them that you should know:
- Anime targets all gender groups, while animations primarily target children.
- Anime focuses a lot on character development, background, and a deep and meaningful story. On the other hand, animations focus more on light activities and don’t stir up many emotions.
- Animations mostly have light-hearted and humorous content. But, anime might have adult moments and rough fighting scenes.
