What to Get Your comics Out This Week

comics out this week

We here at CB don’t know what to expect from DC Comics in the next year or two, but we do know that they’re working on some new characters. One of those characters is going to be Killer croc, which has been receiving a lot of attention lately. It’s a long-term plan and not part of the crossovers that they’ll be doing in the future. We have the news that Greg Rucka will be taking over from Bob Kane as the primary writer of the Batman family of characters. We also know that they’re planning on a few more “major” crossovers between Batman and the Joker, maybe Robin and Batgirl, and the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles team.

Now, we’ve heard some rumblings about a new comic series starring the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but nothing firm on that front just yet. In fact, it looks like James Rosenquist will be the man behind the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, which he’s done for several years now. He’s worked on an animated series, an animated film, and even produced a few episodes of live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He’s written several of the films and specials that make up the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, so you can bet that he knows his stuff when it comes to creating a new story and characters for crossovers between the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and other DC comic book characters.

There’s one other thing that’s very important to know about DC Comics and the New York comics market, which is the release schedule for their comics. Usually, the publisher will announce a few weeks before their monthly comic shipping dates. Usually, this includes several months and even a year or more in advance. We’ll keep looking for announcements of new books and titles, but for now, let’s just say that the “biggest” upcoming release that will hit shelves this week is solicitations for the October “DC Universe: Rebirth” comic. This new series will feature characters we’ve already seen in the past and also will include some never-before storylines. Here’s your current crop of comic books for this week, along with on Wednesday.

In the main storyline, the evil character of Riddler returns after being presumed dead. With the help of a mysterious time traveler, Riddler plans on disrupting the normal timeline. This is just one of the issues that will hit this week, along with on Wednesday.

Justice League:

Tower of London HC It’s not a real surprise that we’ll see a second chapter of the popular “Tower of London” comic book series this week from DC Comics. We previously saw “The Dark Knight” and “Suicide Squad: Harley Quinn” part of the schedule. This time around, we get “The Tower of London” and “The Dark Knight meets the Face of the Master.” It will feature art by Paul Wright and will be released in late February. We expect to have more announcements regarding the release of “The Tower of London” out soon!

Solicited later in January 2021, we have ” Constantine” by DC Entertainment. The third season premiere of ” Constantine” brings in Tom Welling as the man known as Constantine. He has been off on a mission of personal exploration when he receives an unexpected visit from Queen Ahmet, who wants him to investigate an impending attack of supernatural beings on earth. Along the way, Constantine learns the truth about his existence and the other strange individuals who seek to control the future of humanity. This one comes with a two-page sneak peek.

We also get an update on the “Witches of Helgrin” storyline from comics creator Neil Gaiman. Following up on the events seen in the recent Neil Gaiman movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” this time around, we follow the life of Helgren. Following the death of her lover, Helgrin travels across the time looking for her old friend Lily. Lily had been a witch, seeking to bring back the magic of a stable life, but now she has lost all of her magic and must rely on people to survive. She tells her story to a group of girls she has met. “Witches of Helgrin” comes out this week from DC Entertainment.

Bottom Line
